Dolores Diaz
Dolores Diaz is our managing editor. She is a writer, editor and story teller with over 10 years of experience in producing copy and compelling stories across media. Her work includes interfacing with clients, interviewing and coaching technicals and nontechnicals alike to provide valuable content that she works into meaningful copy. She has experience working under a creative director in in-house agency settings and with advertising agencies in addition to working independently with her own team of editors and designers to bring a project into fruition. At times, Dolores works as a branding coach, helping clients understand what makes them unique to weave a specific identity and signature into copy that defines them. She always provides strategy and direction, looking to what's ahead to offer meaningful copy and positioning at key times. In her own words, "I am always looking for ways to put my unique combination of skills to use to add value for my clients." Her technical editing work products include technical engineering and environmental compliance reports, proposals, and marketing materials for commercial, industrial, Local, State, and Federal clients. Ms. Diaz’s experience includes developing, leading, and managing high level document quality assurance programs; coordinating all aspects of document production from development of templates through final production of reports, manuals, brochures, technical papers, fact sheets, and other specialty publications; managing editorial staff; utilizing multiple word processing, graphic design, and presentation software packages; overseeing version control; and managing multiple priorities to meet schedules for numerous deliverables under tight deadlines. Ms. Diaz has edited a variety of engineering-related documents for the municipalities and utilities, and environmental consultancies. She is a cum laude graduate from the University of Notre Dame and holds an English degree with a minor in Journalism.
